David A. Maybee, DDS

Dr. David Maybee graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry/Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2002, after which he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University of Connecticut Dental School. He came to Charlottesville in 2003 while his wife pursued her medical training at the University of Virginia Medical Center, and they decided to make Central Virginia their home. He has pursued continuing education classes to support his interest in implantology and treating children and patients with disabilities. While in dental school, he took part in a dental mission to the mountains of the Dominican Republic, performing oral surgery and restorative work for patients in under-served communities. He has continued this focus on providing care for vulnerable populations by working with the Charlottesville Free Clinic and Mission of Mercy Programs since moving to Charlottesville. Dr. Maybee has also participated in health fairs and nutrition programs with the local schools of Western Albemarle.

David and his family live in Batesville, and his free time is spent keeping up with his two sons, playing soccer and a bottomless well of “honey-do” projects around home.
